Key Takeaways:

Born and raised in America

Software/web developer (remote), in my early fifties.

Speak and Read Spanish (among other languages)

Have lived in many foreign countries over the years.

I have experience living and working remotely from different countries, including Brazil. I consider myself a sort of "armchair anthropologist" and enjoy analyzing the unique aspects of different cultures in foreign countries. I have resided in several countries, such as Colombia, Germany, China, Russia, Kenya, and the Dominican Republic, but I have a particular fondness for the people of Brazil.

Although I strive to follow certain "Christian" principles, I do not belong to a specific denomination, except to say that I align myself with the Protestant tradition. However, I'm not strict or prudish in any such affiliation. The Bible is a fascinating piece of literature, composed of a collection of stories written by various authors at different times. I don't usually discuss it because many "educated" Westerners are unfamiliar with it and have not read it thoroughly as adults. If you're interested in exploring it further, I recommend using a study Bible and concordance, which you can find through a simple Google search. You can find good electronic concordances online these days, but you'll need to actually purchase a study Bible. Look for a "Zondervan" study bible.
